Denver Performing Arts Complex
The Denver Performing Arts Complex is located in the heart
of downtown Denver. Positioned within walking distance to the Colorado
Convention Complex, scores of restaurants, the exciting Lower Downtown
(LODO) and much, much more, the Denver Performing Arts Complex is the
cultural epicenter of the Denver performing arts scene. The site is surrounded
by 14th Street, Champa Street, Speer Boulevard and Arapahoe Street.
The Denver Performing Arts Complex is the second largest Performing Arts
complex in the United States, with a total of nine theatres/performing
spaces and over 10,000 seats. The City and County of Denver's - Theatres
and Arenas Division owns and operates the three largest theatres in the
Complex - AUDITORIUM THEATRE, BOETTCHER CONCERT HALL and the TEMPLE
HOYNE BUELL THEATRE.
The Auditorium Theatre was built in 1907, it has recently been designated
a Historical Landmark by the State of Colorado.
Boettcher Concert Hall is the first concert hall in--the-round built in
North America. It has been acoustically designed for exceptional listening
enjoyment.
The Buell Theatre has been designated by
PERFORMANCE MAGAZINE as the "Highest Grossing Theatre Under 3,000 Seats
in the United States" for the second consecutive year.
 The
