Journey spotlights more than 14 different habitats in two river-to-ocean
journeys and various special exhibits. Visitors come face to face with
300 different species of animals that live in or depend on water. To aid
in your experience, visitors to the facility receive a complementary Animal
Identification Guide upon entry. The exhibit pathways are always staffed
with knowledgeable Journey Guides there to answer any questions you might
have along the way. Visitors will also receive a schedule of the free
presentations offered that day. These presentations include a dive show,
a talk with the animal trainers, or you can catch a children's show at
Sea Star Stage.
Ocean Journey recommends that their guests give themselves approximately
2 hours to enjoy the exhibits and absorb all of the outstanding educational
information offered along the exhibit's paths. Most tours are self-guided
so that you may enjoy your visit at your own pace. Once inside the aquarium,
you can stay as long as you'd like and may come and go as you wish throughout
the day. Simply retain your ticket stub for same-day re-entry.
