Some of our attractions
Thunder Bay. The ocean comes to Colorado in this incredible 1.8
million gallon wave pool, with a surface area larger than a football field.
Rental tubes may be taken into Thunder Bay for your enjoyment.
Pool Depth: 0-8 ft.
One
of the most popular ride complexes at Water World, River Country
offers the biggest variety of inner tube rides in America, with a total
of seven attractions, including 4 single tube rides, 2 two-person inner
tube attractions, and the very first family inner tube ride ever built,
The Ragin' Colorado. This ride provides nearly 3/4 of a mile of
white water excitement.
Lost River of the Pharaohs is the first family raft attraction
in the world to integrate themeing, animatronics and sound effects with
the thrill of white water rafting. Plunge down a steep river into an ancient
Egyptian pyramid past cobras, grave robbers and the living mummy before
descending into the dreaded pit of molten lava.
Ride Experience: Approx. 4.5 min.
Known as the highest water slides in the world, (Denver is a mile high,
you know), the newest speed slides at Water World are called Flat Line,
Pipe Line, and Red Line. Get ready for some heart stopping drops as
you race down these slides at speeds up to 40 mph. It's all the thrill
you can handle in one day! Breathtaking views of downtown Denver may also
be enjoyed at the top of the slide tower. The rider at left is seen descending
down the eight story Red Line.
