Denver Colorado Economy
The Denver economy is feeling the same crunch right now as the rest of
the country. However, with strong companies rooting the economy located
here things could be far worse. Denver is home to service, industry, high
tech research and manufacturing sectors predominantly. However, the government
keeps a hand in the mix with small yet significant percentage of the workforce
employed at various installations around the metro area. For instance,
Denver has a Federal Campus located in Lakewood, Bureau of Standards and
the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Buckley Air National
Guard Base in Aurora, and plenty more.
